I'm fortunate enough to have never had a no show.

I've been ghosted and cancelled on. But never arranged to meet someone and they've not turned up.

My preference is a hotel meet, I always arrange to meet at a hotel bar with an option to play but I never book it until we are both happy to play. Food for thought OP

Dayuse hotel bookings can usually be cancelled right up until the last minute so nothing is lost if a no show

Not had one yet but then I always take my time getting to know people via messaging and building a level of "comfort" that they actually want to meet before I arrange to do so - usually over a period of weeks/months - if they're still interested in meeting me after that then I'm pretty sure they're going to show up

If this is a first try and see if there was a check and balance you could have applied to your process.. if it's happeningo often... change your selection process...

Not thought of that, definitely what I'll be doing in future as I prefer a hotel meet. Adds to the excitement
