What was the best era for sitcom? 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s?

We were discussing, You rung ma'lord, Just good friends, Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie, Friends and loads more.

What was your favourite show? Which made you chuckle?

Don't be silly, the 70's was the best for sitcom's by a long way. "Rising Damp", "Open All Hours", "On The Bus's", "Love Thy Neighbor", "Till Death Do Part", the list is endless.................it was a golden era for sitcom's.

I wouldn't lump "Rising Damp" or "Open All Hours" in with that description, but yes, the others would never be made nowdays
