Just wondered if anyone out there has a violet ray machine - with a spiral attachment. My wife Annabell has adhesions pains and the only suggestion the NHS come come up with is a 6th operation to cut away yet more scare tissue - that will grow back again. Someone suggested we try a violet ray machine but Finsbury Clinic wants £3k for treatment and we don't have the money - nor do we have the fund to buy one at the moment. So if there are any kind souls out there who fancy helping us find out if it can work I'd be most appreciative. At the moment with the amount of pain she's getting I'm starting to get desperate to find an alternative solution.

If you are willing to try an alternative therapy search EFT or emotional freedom technique. It is great for pain. Much cheaper than £3,000.

You could try asking on a BDSM forum, these are also known as violet wands and a lot of people in the BDSM community use them.

We bought ours of a well known auction site for £55 plus £10 PnP and it was a nice one with 12 different wants so you can get them a lot cheaper.

Sold it 2 year later for £85

thanks but we have tried EPT Acupuncture and a miriade of other alternatives and without much change.

the latest auction listings are still way above what we can afford at the moment. Looks like I'm going to have to sell my arse for 50p a go to raise the money.

The BDSM forum idea was worth looking at tho
