Although I have very few sexual partners. Obviously, they recommend people to use them. | |||

Being tested every three months is great but if you have oral sex with somebody carrying gonnorhea or god forbid hiv on day 1 it's going to have 89 days to get hold and transfer before it's picked up. There are more and more drug resistant viral and bacterial infections all the time. It's one thing to know the facts and take a calculated risk whether to protect yourself (and others). That is absolutely down to each individual to make their own mind up. But for a clinic to not be advising of the availability and worse, saying they are not necessary is pretty shocking. | |||

However honest you are at the clinics in my area you would not be offered a dam. Transmission rate of sti from vagina to mouth/throat is such a low % that it's not beneficial for it to be offered. Men who are straight will never be offered throat swabs either however promiscuous they are. Your clinic sounds very well funded but most are not so please don't make people feel that they are in the wrong when most clinics do not offer what your clinic is offering. | |||

" When we are with long-term friends, yes, we do have a good idea of their history and trust what they tell us, just as they know and trust us. Some of our long-term friends have been my friends nearly 15 years. Like I said, it's a calculated risk that we won't take with strangers...
