I see this a lot, people saying they're working their ass off in the gym but not losing weight. As a pound of fat takes up 1 1/2 times the space of muscle what they're actually doing is changing their shape. I advise measuring weight chest hips waist and one thigh before starting a training regime, then re-measuring every week. They see their weight pretty consistent but the other measurements changing. Got to get the diet right too. Balanced and varied. The body adapts to routine and doesn't process the same way after a while. Same with the exercise regime. Got to keep the body stimulated. | |||
