Just got my Tabex come to help me stop smoking, anyone else tried them?

For anyone that don't know them, they are a herbal (Cytisine) nicotine substitute that is said to be far more affective than the UK quit smoking things.

I'm going to try from tomorrow and will let you know if they work.

I used the cold turkey method to kick the habit, 6 years on now, but still chuffed to bits about it everyday .....

I hope you are aware that tabex isn't licensed in the uk. Eastern European drugs bought online have often turned out to be fake containing god knows what. Hopefully you bought them from a reputable company.

Having said that I wish you all the best of luck. I gave up myself for a year using champix and they're very good..I've started smoking again but thatsaa different story

I know 4 people who chose the Champix pills to stop and are still using them and they seem to work but the list of side effects are huge.

I stopped smoking the hard way, its the best thing I've done. Its nearly a year sober too, not had a drop of alcohol

Yes they are from a reputable company

Thanks everyone for the good luck.

If they work for me then Shaz going to give it a go as she keeps packing up but only lasting about 6 weeks on the patches and things.

I'm starting them tomorrow (sat) now so if I have a reaction to them and they make me ill or drop dead or something worst I don't have to worry about picking youngen up from school
