Anybody else "suffered" this? Just had an email saying I wasn't utilising my Prime account fully, didn't know I had one!!

Telephoned Amazon, they said I'd agreed a 30 day trail 6 months ago which expired onto been paid account. I complained about their "deliberately confusing" free postage and instantly they said they'd fully reimburse me.

Although thankful I'm also very suspicious that I may not have agreed in the first instance, this happened to anyone else?

You almost certainly agreed to it without realising. They've put a lot of work into making the buttons for accepting the free trial look like they're the only ones, so people click on them without reading them.

no matter

I mistakenly found myself joined up whilst checking my DD . Called them and they refunded me . Also happened with the Apple Music thing they also refunded . Seems you just click a button and you sign yourself up .

I have to be careful and read stuff properly

It annoys me that you can't order without jumping through several carefully constructed hoops. Did you notice an unusual payment on the card you use for amazon?

There and to the left a bit

Have heard of this happening to a few people (my Mum included) although personally I'm signed up to it anyway and have probably saved the money it cost on next day deliveries and box sets I've watched on Prime Video anyway

Not that i order much from amazon, when i do you have to make sure you untick the box on delivery about prime delivery and change to free delivery or other delivery, otherwise you have agreed and signed up at checkout. am more of a ebay buyer, but sometimes amazon comes out cheaper without prime.

mmmmmmm has anyone tried using Amazon Prime to TRY and watch the US open. So good that they've used their ill gotten gains to outbid Sky for the rights for the next 5 years. Love the way it buffers when the crowd erupts after a good shot. Also the tiny dot moving across the screen has that wonderful streak after it that you used to get with PONG tennis game. Infact it's almost as good as PONG. No seriously........ what a leap forward in technology I am enjoying with their interphase that doesn't give you a clue who is playing on which court unless you click on it.

I thought I would give it a try. I certainly will not be watching any more masters tennis on it for the time being Roger, Andy and Novak and Co can wave good bye to my assistance in earning their million.

Oh yes and try watching it on your mobile phone. The picture is actually better than on your TV but it's about 5" x 2.5" so really really small, but it's crystal clear. Wonderful advance if you're a pigmy and very small.

Yep. I got caught out a few years ago. Went shopping in town and couldn’t pay for a thing, checked my bank and amazon has taken £89 out. Got my money back pretty quickly, apparently there was a huge watchdog investigation behind it because it’s sort of misleading

Yep. I am on their so called 30 day trial. I can't wait for their question about why I want to give it up.

It'll be an opportunity for me to give it to them both barrels
