Embarrassing your siblings

Do you do it?

I have two sisters, one is 15 in August and one has just turned 11. My 15 year old sister is one of the ‘popular’ girls, and gets embarrassed so easily. We’re very close and she knows I have an open marriage (nope, she knows no details and will not hear any for a few years yet) and I’ve given her the best sex talk a girl could ask for. But, like I said, she gets VERY embarrassed very easily.

Yesterday we were in Boots and I shouted across to my husband ‘do we need more lube? If so, what flavour?’ And she walked out of the shop! When she came back in she was in front of us in the queue and I shouted ‘did you pick up that thrush cream?’ And she told me to fuck off

It’s also a little running joke that I call my husband daddy (he’s four years older than me and when I was under 16, I got bullied at school and told ‘he’s old enough to be your dad’). If I call him daddy in public, my sister is mortified. It’s gotten to the point where my youngest sister will call him daddy, as will my brother, my mum, my dad, and all my cousins.

She laughs about it but she does get embarrassed so easily. Does anyone else do anything to embarrass their siblings or family members?

(I hope this post makes sense. I still haven’t slept)

I’m the youngest of four so I’m usually the one they try to embarrass. My older brothers like to fart in public and pretend I did it. The eldest is nearly 40 and he still thinks he’s hilarious

My sister and I haven't seen each other or spoken in 4 years. She turned up at my dad's 70th Wednesday, I did my very best to be polite and friendly. It nearly killed me

I do love to embarrass my kids though. The eldest is a soldier, I used to drop him back to camp and make him give me a hug at the gate then call out to him as he walked through " Hold hands and mind the roads (just our little saying) Mummy loves you Bubba!"

He just rolls his eyes and says "Mum!? Please!!??" Then has to look at whoever's on guard and explain I'm a bit mad.

Pubs usually, but I have been known to burst into song while I'm out shopping with my younger sister.

Oooooh I do this with my 15 year old sister. She was on FaceTime to a boy in her bedroom (she lived with us for a while) and I knocked on the bedroom door, poked my head through and said ‘come on now, it’s bath time! then after that it’s prayers and I’ll tuck you into bed’ at 6pm

His best mate is a girl, He is gay, he's staying at hers this weekend so I dropped him there and LD him the condoms are in the zip pocket of his bag... But anything would make him blush.

Not particularly close to mine, haven't spoken to elder brother in over 30 years or younger sister in over 3, apart for sexual reasons quite content and happy in my own company actually.

When I’m in Tesco with my dad he’ll shout ‘stranger danger!’ Point at me, and run away. Or he’ll push me over or into the freezers

My brothers were terrible for this. The youngest one was bringing a girl round he'd been seeing and one of my other brothers pulled his covers back and shat on his bed. We didn't see her again after that

My sister lives in belguim whenever me and my partner here music in the street we will often stop for a dance. There was an acourdanist playing and we had stopped for a dance and she literally ran off and left us
