Oxfordshire

Already been said, but ketogenic diets are incredible. Do take note of how much carbohydrate you are currently intake and steadily reduce it to avoid side effects.

That said, given the high quantity of protein and fat you'll intake (counter-intuitive hey) you'll shred BF% and retain muscle.

Keto is not for the novice mind you and requires dedication to quite an extreme level. Carb cycling combined with intermittent fasting might be a good alternative. Personally I wouldn't do keto myself as I am not sure I could cope with the side effects on mood which affects some/most. If it works for you it is highly effective however. Odd area of the forum to post though!

"think I need to Google it as ive never heard of it "

Limit calories to a deficeit of 500 kcal per day and keep protein at minimum 1g per 1lb of body weight, have your carbs early in the day rather than last thing at night.

Use a TDEE to work out your calories exactly and then download my fitness pal app and weigh all your food to keep on top of calories ??

Oh and up your cardio, it's basically calories in v calories out, I've dropped about 18lb in 3 weeks without over complicating my diet

Like it’s been said before it’s in vrs out

As simple as that

If u wanna keep muscle then keep the delicate small

Ur gonna have to do weights as u will loose muscle before fat if not

Also ditch the scales and take measurements

If u like banter aswell as sound advice give James smith a look

He tells it how it is
