...apologies to the late Robert M. Pirsig for the intended reference...

So let's for arguments sake say that I was involved in a chat with another user on here. ( the content of which shall remain private and the user confidential).

They had relatively little on the profile and weren't very forthcoming with anything useful enough to help me get a sense of their likes or dislikes. The chat and repartee was all going swimmingly and we even had a potential first meet lined up when...

Let's just say things took a nasty turn when I was accused of objectifying them and bombarding them with questions (this despite the fact that I was being quite diligent at not being overtly sexual and only asking circuitous questions about their non fab related pursuits - all of which remained unanswered b.t.w. ).

To cut a long story short, the other party asked me not to contact them again which I have and still am quite happy to comply with ( after all I am a big boy and not really into head games of this sort).

The problem arises in trying to delete the kik conversation, kik must have notified the user because I immediately got a message from said user stating "as I said, please don't contact me again"? All of which is a tad confusing and a bit bothering in light of the fact that I too wish no further contact - anyone else faced a similar scenario?

The floor is open to anyone else wanting to vent some spleen, solve a technical conundrum or just generally sprout shite (prizes for the best stories will be awarded on a purely random basis)....

That's exactly what I did - but kick must have decided to contact them on my behalf telling them that I had deleted it. Anyway I now have a new message from said user that I really don't want to touch lest I invoke all manner of Kafkaesque voodoo 0-)

No - it's strictly documentaries and panel shows for me
