Going on to it, then i would have said that getting to the quarter final was acceptable performance and a semi exceeds expectations. To get knocked out before then is failure, however you look at it. The point is that if we avoid topping the group, then we wouldn't even have a tough match until the semi final. Whereas topping it is likely to punish us by meeting the most likely Champions, at the first real hurdle. | |||

Raheem Sterling outscored both Jesus and Firmino last season, as did Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy. Lingard and Ali are proven game changers.
