That does sound incredibly frustrating,what are you going to do?" Keep trying. Use my work skills to find email addresses, and roundabout ways to locate other numbers. And make a positive complaint, not to cause problems but to advocate the issues and inefficiency that at 11.30am they’re going to have a staff member sitting with a no show appointment, that they’ll then do the close referral paperwork and send back and then we will have to go through this all again. If they had an open line email, text or answer machine I would be able to inform them of cancellation and my engagement to still want to find a mutually convenient appointment time. If they had a better notice period for informing about appointments then I’d actually have been able to take time off to come in (or reschedule things). It’s frustrating as I appreciate it’s all more work for them and not just inconvenience for me, and then beyond all that I’d like the actual medical intervention! | |||
