lovely day relaxing at work with a sweet and chatty client (I'm a carer). her phone rings, she chats and hangs up. then tells me her daughter and her son in law are popping in for a cuppa. lovely. that gives me half an hour to potter about and do her ironing while she is occupied.

then the door opens. in strolls said family. and I, and he, nearly had a heart attack. hes been telling me for months hes single.

yes I'm being very discreet and no hes not on this site as far as I know.

think it's safe to say that this weekend's dinner plans are cancelled

. Liars are never safe. People who say "I'm at pains to ensure my partner doesn't find out" are naive.

I'd love to have witnessed his inner turmoil as he drank tea with his wife and mother in law trying to act normally
