"Black is like water, a lot of it.no water is white or grey Water can be blue tooyes it can. No. Water that's blue reflects the sky. I trust you’re not being serious..." This is how fucked up our sight and it’s perception can be . The sky appears blue , yet it has no colour . Water appears blue , yet it also has no colour . It’s all about both reflecting long wave colours like red and reflecting it to what we see ... actually I don’t fully understand it myself , but I know a glass of water is clear yet the ocean , rivers and lakes seem blue . I think blue is a short wave colour or something and after the long wave reds, oranges , greens and yellows go through the process of absorbing the light and bounce back they look blue to us .

What do you think colour is? Colour is nothing more or less than the light which reaches our eyes after bouncing off or passing through something. So, the sky is blue. It can also be red and orange. And water is blue. Only very slightly, so it’s barely noticeable in a glass, but in sufficient quantities you can see that it is undeniably blue. The sea will appear different colours depending on various factors, including non-water particles.
