I'll be turning 50 in Spring and i don't give a pig's fart. I'm determined to grow old disgracefully.

So here's an opportunity to reminisce over your childhood. What is the earliest childrens television you remember enjoying? For me it was Bagpuss and The Clangers.

The earliest I remember are Rainbow, Button Moon and Let's Pretend (a show that nobody ever remembers but for some reason I can still recall the theme song after all these years ).

When BBC 2 first started broadcasting in colour, the used to run a load of short programs through the day, always remember on about buying and Bola showing life in south East aisa

I think everything and anything on BBC in the 60s was narrated in 'posh' received pronunciation.

We didn't but even now I'm amazed how often London /home counties accents are still described as 'posh' by some Northerners!

I can remember watching The Dukes of Hazzard. I knew if I got to watch it from the very start, I'd be guaranteed to see the opening credits. And see Catherine Bach in her red bikini.
