420 friendly are those who smoke . I stay away from anyone who has that in their profile or ask me, to be fair.

They are asking if you smoke or object to them using marijuana.

People who either smoke marijuana or are happy for others to while they’re with them

It’s from a US legislation that was passed on 20th April a few years ago (US dates are abbreviated to 4/20 rather than 20/04) so the ‘420’ tag became a code

A few months back there was a post asking for profile advice, We suggested they removed the 420 friendly from their text ..

We got slagged of both ways for suggesting this..

Don't tell them to take it off because we will never meet them because we know they use drugs..

Don't tell them to take it off because we like to meet people that are 420 friendly ..

We were only telling them to take it off because it's against site rules..

We do not care personally what folk get up to..

Incorrect. It originated from students in the early 70's who would hook up after college and light up at 4:20pm.

There is no blanket legalisation in the usa, each state has its own laws, most of which (but not all) are for medical use only and require a dr's prescription in order to purchase it.
