Approaching women i the street.

Hey, with the hot weather obviously some incredible body's are on show.

Which got me thunking, and this is a question mainly for the women but how would it make you feel if a guy approached the in the street, complimented you and asked either for your phone number or to go for a drink?

Being British i don't know if it's acsepted, creepy or just pointless.

I know each woman will have different feelings in it but I'm going for a majority.

I would love to go for a drink with someone there and then.. if they were relaxed and fun, I would give them my number.

It would make my day if someone flirted with Me, complimented me and whisked me off for a quick glass of diet

Exeter Bristol Salisbury

I find it easier walking up to a random woman in the street or a coffee shop than I do on Fab

It's much easier to gauge their reactions in person than in a one dimensional message

Had quite a few knock backs but never a bad reaction

Try it you'll be surprised

Nope. I'm not sure how I'd feel if someone just randomly approached me in the street. No-one ever has,although there was that guy in Wilkinsons once thinking about it.

This is what used to happen in my youth. A guy would approach you at the bus stop, in the street on a train. There is a very fine line between complimentary and creepy though. As long as you remember that most women are wearing summer clothes because they like them and they keep them cool rather than for the benefit of men you'll be fine.

The old fashioned methods are sometimes the best

I've mentioned this before buty father's only romantic advice to me was to go swimming near an attractive life guard and pretend to get into difficulty. He passed this infallible advice to our daughter too

Happened to me in Sainsbury’s two summers ago. He was very complimentary and gentlemanly so stupidly I gave contact details. Took me on a date with an horrendous ending then proceeded to hound me by phone every day. I blocked him and so he used a different phone withholding his number....very freaky! He still now and again leaves a voicemail saying ‘I’m still around’. Be careful guys of ‘nice men in the street’!!!!!

I got stared at last Thursday by a younger male parent at my daughter's school fair. He saw that I had seen him and continued to stare. It creeped me out on that occasion. I didn't have any cleavage on display or anything.

i see them interacting everyday but "looking for a date wise" i think far to many really on the things such as dating apps. But then i think it could be said of a lot of people regardless of their age

think im just old fashioned in my views i think people should be out in the real world doing it. I think about when my grandson grows up and the world will be a different place to that i know

The end of the date was, for me, horrendous and very embarrassing and awkward. If you want I’ll private message you about it. I had afterwards told him not to keep contacting me and he wasn’t for me but he persisted and ignored my request. Very freaky indeed. I’m wary of unknown men who strike up conversation in supermarkets now
