"Would the ladies ever do this to a guy? " Nope. I'm not sure how I'd feel if someone just randomly approached me in the street. No-one ever has, although there was that guy in Wilkinsons once thinking about it.

"Would the ladies ever do this to a guy? " in the olden days it was always women that made the first move. People used to do their courting by going for walks to parks and such. If a lady was interested in a guy she would drop her hankerchief when he walked by and he would pick it up for her. My grandma waited for my grandad and one day pretended her bike had broke as he went by

"Would the ladies ever do this to a guy? " Not directly. If I was single I might start a conversation in a supermarket for instance and see if it led anywhere

"Hey, with the hot weather obviously some incredible body's are on show. Which got me thunking, and this is a question mainly for the women but how would it make you feel if a guy approached the in the street, complimented you and asked either for your phone number or to go for a drink? Being British i don't know if it's acsepted, creepy or just pointless. I know each woman will have different feelings in it but I'm going for a majority. Let me know cheers. my face most of the weekend. " Happened to me in Sainsbury’s two summers ago. He was very complimentary and gentlemanly so stupidly I gave contact details. Took me on a date with an horrendous ending then proceeded to hound me by phone every day. I blocked him and so he used a different phone withholding his number....very freaky! He still now and again leaves a voicemail saying ‘I’m still around’. Be careful guys of ‘nice men in the street’!!!!!

"Im sure most of the younger generation would have no idea how to interact without the internet. Its nice to see a young lad taking the initiative" Do you think so? I see the younger generation interacting every day. I don't know what percentage of romantic hook ups are arranged on line though. That might be where things are different

But then i think it could be said of a lot of people regardless of their age

If you want I’ll private message you about it. I had afterwards told him not to keep contacting me and he wasn’t for me but he persisted and ignored my request. Very freaky indeed. I’m wary of unknown men who strike up conversation in supermarkets now
