Best county in UK

I’m biased but Devon has it all, I live between the moors and the sea. Dartmoor is stunning, the coast is beautiful. Great places to surf in North Devon. We have mountains and forests, the locals are always friendly and everybody works part time, All the celebs move down here cause it’s just the shit.

Where do you think is the best county in the UK ?

North Bucks

I love Dartmoor if I could I would live there in a heartbeat.

Devon is pretty nice I agree. I also like Snowdownia

My County Bucks (North) is rather featureless nice countryside and centrally located is about all you can say.

Brighton - even Hove!

When our kids have flown the nest we’re gonna move to Devon and maybe a small place in France.

Somerset, always thought my heart would stay with Devon but it’s a nice area here. I’m only a hop, skip and a jump from Devon (well maybe if I was a giant, but you get the drift). Nice countryside, nice coastal areas and easy to get to other places. Love it!!

Surely not another ‘accident’ at Metz’s Fish Pedicure establishment on Rue de Tramway?

Cardiff

Cardiff County.

One of the best cities in the UK.

1 hour to the gower

1 hour to bristol

1 hour to Brecon

20 minutes to the beach. World class sports, world class concerts. Cardiff Bay. Castles and Museums. Huge beautiful parks smack bang in the city.

Has its own airport (almost). Plenty of green fields and yet completely multi cultural with many different communities.
