What was your first Album/CD you bought with your own money?

Mine was Regatta De Blanc By The Police I was 10

The smurfs album, it was just like a mix tape of all the hits at the time but with different lyrics, I was about 8

One Step Beyond - Madness

Fine Art Of Surfacing - Boomtown Rats

Bought for me one of those Top Of The Pops albums with a scantily dressed lady on the front (had Crazy Horses, My Ding A Ling, Ben and a few others on it)

Seriously though - mine was the same band at roughly the same age/ year but it was "Ghost in the Machine" - only because I wanted Regatta but the shop had no copies in stock and I bought the next best option instead
