Breaking Electronics

Has anyone ever seen videos on YouTube of parents smashing their kids electronics whether it's phones, laptops, ipads or games consoles and wondered, why do these people do this?

Do these parents seem to forget that they paid for the electronics they are smashing up?

Doing this kind of thing is not very productive as it would lead to even more conflict or worse.

No, never seen them.

I’m not sure I can contribute much to the rest of your questions

99% og these uploads are fake the rest is sheer frustration at their child not listening to a thing they are told

Mostly fake and set up.

Who, in the heat of anger or punishing a child in that way would think 'I know, I'm gonna video this and whack it on YouTube'

I know that there are fake videos just made for YouTube. I'm just saying that if there are parents out there that actually do this, it would have bad consequences.

In fact, there have been deaths caused by arguments over video games.

Dunno about deaths, but years ago when you used to have tabletop video games in pubs, one of our mates used to spend all his time playing Space Invaders instead of joining in the conversation (usually about bikes, women or music ). One day before he came in, we did ask the Landlord, we took the fuse out of the plug and told him it was broken

Dont believe everything you see online OP, and especially on youtube..

My son, who is also autistic, is forever coming to me with video clips of totally unbelievable stuff asking if its real or fake..

These are with recent models from the past few years.

Trust me, I never believe everything I see online including YouTube.

I used to be scared of doomsday related stories but after overcoming that fear, I have the knowledge and common sense to know that anything apocalyptic will never happen.
