If a woman gets attention on here but not in the outside world then there is nothing wrong with that, I suppose its just selling the same product on a different market.

(Disclaimer, the above is just a euphemism and I do not believe all women are selling themselves nor do i believe that women are 'products'. Please accept the above statement as a personal opinion and not a direct fact. Thank you)

I don’t get any attention in the “real world” so it’s nuce when I st attention on here, although I know it’s shallow attention so it’s not a real confidence boost. It’s just better than being ignored all the time

I think it's different. On here it's all superficial and usually based on some body pics. It's an ego boost in a way but also feels a bit fake.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Whilst the blandishments (what a lovely word eh?) on here may sometimes be somewhat shallow, if they serve in anyway to brighten the recipients day (especially if they serve to augment the persons confidence) then I think it’s a good thing.

I am of course referring to politely issued compliments in this regards, as opposed to the myriad, staple, ‘I Wanna fuck you!’ type messages

I get very little attention apart from in clubs or here. Partly because I don't encourage it (I'm not saying people do or should be blamed, more, I play up my serious/shy side and it scares people off. In my case it's deliberate).

Some of the attention I get here is an ego boost, but some of it isn't. I feel really good that I'm getting attention from people I'd want to know anyway, I'm making friends. In conjunction with other things I'm doing to work on my confidence, Fab as I experience it certainly helps. (it's also allowed me to explore and embrace my sexuality, accepting myself as I am) The desperate attention is just annoying and does nothing for me.

I get some attention in the real world but obviously no where near as much as here. I think most woman here take the compliments as a pinch of salt. Of course your the hottest on the site when they want to get in your knickers... Until you turn them down

The "ego boost" for me did come as an indirect result of Fab. Club visits made me realise what other real women looked like naked, as opposed to the media images that we are fed. This made me feel better in turn about my own body, hence the increased confidence.

The compliments from here mean very little unless I have met the person giving them.

I'm regularly told I'm 'gorgeous' and 'stunning' , usually by men with erections! It's flattering and an ego-boost but I also know that once they've shot their load I revert to being a bloke in a dress!!

However, recently I've been out for a few walks fully dressed and have received some nice smiles and a couple of wolf whistles even.Now THAT is an ego boost
