When I try and search profiles I never find anyone that piques my interest however on the forums often there is but they live miles and miles away!!!

What is it about geography... do all your favourite people live miles away???

The way I look at it - I'd be willing to travel up to a 2-3 hour distance each way - if the person I was meeting did the same that's most of the country covered

So nope distance doesn't have to be an issue with some forward planning

I've done it before, was around 200 miles but only managed it for around 8 months. The distance becomes too much to see enough of each other

My ex lived 2 hours away and we made it work for nearly 2 years, back and forth 2/3 times a week.

To me distance isn’t a barrier, I’ll happily travel and it doesn’t bother me. I’ve offered to drive 2 hours for a coffee if I think the person is worth it.

If you want it then you make it work. I do think that if you want something enough then you find a way

I really think it depends what your looking for...a quick nsa meet most people will travel however if its a fwb/fb relationship Im not sure how the distance would work long term or is something better than nothing....oh I dont know.

I guess it's not so much travel that is the issue (per my earlier post if both are willing to meet halfway and you don't live at opposite ends of the country most areas are within a 2-3 hour drive) - as frequency of that travel and how often you want to meet.

For me circumstances mean I would only meet every 6-8 weeks so a 2-3 hour drive each way on that basis wouldn't be a problem - if you tried to do it more frequently (with the added thing of petrol/hotel costs thrown in) it might become a little wearing after a while.

However yes. Most of the people I see on the forum who I think 'oh I'd like to meet them' are miles way.

For me it's because I'm very much attracted to someone's personality and if they come across well on the forum it's much more about that.

I travel about an hour and 15 minutes to a couple I have seen regular.. It's not that bad tbh .. And I do get on very well with them..I even took a bi single lady with me the other week Apparently they are very hard to come by . We had a great time x

it seems to be the case! One in Scotland wales Ireland! Lol!! Met a lovely northern lady and I’m going over 2 hours drive to see a lovely lady soon! So with planning for the right people it’s well worth it and club visits are a good way to meet halfway

Bloody annoying geography is only an inconvenience. It does make it all the more special when you do get to meet your favourite special fab friend again though

We tend to travel to clubs, around 2 to 4 hours away and are not meeting close to home. Having kids makes thingd tricky and we are more likely to have a sociable time regardless at a club. If we do get contacted by local people we tend to just let them know where we will be next. That might sound a bit odd but we are going with it for now!

Yes - I started my Fab journey on trips to Scotland. Was lucky enough to meet a few people. I would say as of now, I have two good Fab friends in Glasgow, although one I haven’t actually met yet.

And I have a very special Fab friend who sadly is further north, about 500 miles away. But if timings work for both of us I would make that trip in a heartbeat.
