I’ve Mark Owen from Take That twice. Probably zero excitement for most people but not for me!

First time was in 1996 at T in the Park when I may have been indulging in substances not entirely legal. Just blathered the biggest lot of shite, then walked away crying.

Second time was in 2005. I was being all hobby and full of it with his manager and his band then he came out and I became mute.

He’s my longest term (and unrequited- story of my fucking life!) relationship.

I also met Brian Cant when I was about 3, and I’ve Prince Andrew a couple of time at military things. He’s a cheeky bastard, totally took the piss out of me.

I have played darts against Eric Bristow.

Quite a few footballers & managers when I used to work at the Baseball Ground in the 80's and early 90's.

Quite a few musicians as well over the years, Robert Plant, Ian Gillan, Eric Clapton to name a few. I went to School with Guy Pratt who replaced Roger Waters in Pink Floyd and we had a guided tour of John Entwistle's mansion in the Cotswolds.

Oh, and Phil Lynott still owes me a pint

Casual friends with 90s indie band Carter USM and 2 nicer more humble people it is hard to imagine meeting.

Have met numerous other bands from that era, most frequently Neds Atomic Dustbin a few times and they are also great lads.

Miles Hunt of the wonder stuff has a reputation for being a complete arsehole bit have met him a few times and he has been charm personified.

Also got told to "fuck off you little cunt" by one of the Reid brothers from jesus and mart chain.

Was too scared to talk to Napalm Death when I used to drink in the same metal bar as them in Brum.

Met loads of famous sports people when I was a volunteer at the Olympics in 2012. Dame Kelly Holmes was amazing, very inspiring and told me I had a lovely smile. Stood chatting to Sir Steve Redgrave for 10 minutes, it was only when he walked away and my colleague asked if I knew who he was that I found out who he was.

Also met actual royalty when they watched the hockey where I was based, Princess Anne and the Dutch royal family, who were surprisingly pleasant, even when I told them they couldn't take their hot drinks onto the stand.

"Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen, very nice friendly chap. Most of the main cast of Doc Martin, I kid ye not!

Was he surprisingly down to earth? "

It was from Changing Rooms era, on the Isle of Arran to be precise, he was very friendly and chatty.

"Anyone famous? And if so were they nice?

I was hoping for an introduction to Bradley Cooper.. Ryan Reynolds or George Clooney...so if your friends with them thanks in advance! "

Frankie Boyle, backstage after a gig in Glasgow. Nice guy - very very quiet.

My wife has met a lot of famous people through working at an exclusive golf club - she’d tell you that Prince Andrew was nice (but cheeky) and that Rory Bremner is an arrogant twat.

Mostly Olympic riders like Mark Todd, Blythe Tait, Mary King, Carl Hester etc through the horses or work. Stevie Winwood kept his yearlings with mine, and I've met a few celebs and musicians lately working backstage at festivals.

Had my photo taken with the Scottish actor Iain Robertson when I was an extra in a film he was in.

I’ve also walked past Ruth Madoc in a Cardiff Shop and went down stairs to the opposite side of Russel Grant in Marks & Spencer in Cardiff.

My ex has searched the baggage of Sir Tom Jones (who he said was very down to earth).

Back in the 90s I worked in a big name chemist in birmingham U.K. and served Victoria wood.. she was the rudest customer and because we didn’t have a certain item left in stock she started the old saying “do you know who I am” line.

Other famous people at the chemist was..

I gave directions to Norman wisdom to birmingham hippodrome.

Sue pollard from hi de hi.. also gave directions to central news building.

Tony Hadley from spandau ballet was in the que but I never got to serve him as he went to the next till.

Over here in Ireland I served tommy tiernan and his mother.

Met Gerry Adams while he was doing the walk about a shopping centre and he put his hand out to me and shook my hand.
