Fab Royalty!?! What's the attraction?

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

We have been described as such by several people (singles, couples and TV's alike) and not just from the forums. As humbling and ego boosting as it is, we are just 'normal' people with just as many character flaws as the next person.

What we want to know is, what is it about a profile that makes you regard it so highly that they seem to become 'regal'?

Do you consider yourself as 'Fab Royalty' or have you been described as such?

Is being 'Fab Royalty' the same as being in a clique?

Yours, genuinely perplexed

I’ve heard fab royalty before to describe ‘MrHornyGent’.

I suppose popularity is all the fun you ‘think’ they are having.

There’s some people who’s nane gets banded about the scene a lot but for all the wrong reasons? Are they royalty/celebrity too?!

I think that's just a term to describe you as popular. Wether it be through hot photos or regular presence on the forums where people would recognise you. If you're active in the club scene or regularly attend socials and travel around you become easily recognised as well.

I think it's a person's presence on the site that makes them popular.

I have at one point or another, through reputation I guess. Was once recognised by my lips at a social.

Oh is that what was meant when someone referred to 'King Fuzz? I thought they meant something else!!

In all seriousness though - it's obviously meant as a compliment and is something bestowed upon you rather than something you either think yourselves or would even dream of bestowing on yourselves and that's what makes you both what you are - a normal down to earth couple with no heirs or graces who don't take things too seriously and if that makes you "royalty" in the eyes of others then "long live the King and Queen"

It is down to perception. I perceive you and a few other people to be what swinging should be about, in my opinion. I have seen it used before about others and thought it was an accepted term. Apparently it is not. I normally wouldn’t use it in the forums though. But as it’s there on your veri I’m not going to pretend I’ve never used it.

I would also ask people to treat you with respect but that’s one cliché too far

Thank you for the name check

All I do is read profiles, check veris, look at the pictures - in that order - get in touch with people and turn up as agreed. If that makes me Fab Royalty then ‘F*ck Me I’m Famous’

I do party a lot, but that’s just me. I’m no different than the next single guy or couple. It’s a fun moniker and not one I had paid too much attention to.

Or maybe someone said it because of my hairy chest. I believe the OP likes it

My dilemma though is now I’ve been outted should I change my username from Mr to King and that’s not with a ‘ in front of King

"I don't see one forum member any different to another.

Certainly don't give labels; I try to be inclusive "

But we are all different and we need labels to identify things

I get what you mean though, we try to be inclusive and non judgemental too as for us that's a major part of swinging.

"I don't know you, you seem nice, and I do think you have lovely pictures. But I wouldn't describe anyone in here as fab royalty. Just sounds like someone was kissing your ass a bit!

I did it in a recent veri I gave them. I’ll hold my hands up but it was for the reasons I have given above. I am a kiss ass when I like people

You and another made me think about it. Although we've been described differently, but in the same regard,by others it just got me thinking...... surely it's all down to perception?

Fuzz

It is down to perception. I perceive you and a few other people to be what swinging should be about, in my opinion. I have seen it used before about others and thought it was an accepted term. Apparently it is not. I normally wouldn’t use it in the forums though. But as it’s there on your veri I’m not going to pretend I’ve never used it.

I would also ask people to treat you with respect but that’s one cliché too far "

Perceptions change.

And respect is earned not deserved

This I get.

The way we go about swinging is to express our sexuality through our pics and try to show everyone our best traits via interaction through the forums and socials.
