Marshall Mathers LP was the first one i bought myself. Classic. I remember being devastated when i punched my sister and she scratched it on the concrete wall to get back at me

Yes. My parents bought it for my 13th birthday it was a Top of The Pops LP with cover versions of all the current hits. They also bought me a grey skirt and a skinny rib jumper.

First one I can remember owning was one of those "Top Of The Pops" albums from the eqrly 70s that always had a scantily dressed woman on the front and was actually recent hits re-recorded by session musicians.

First "proper" album from memory was actually two:

First album was Walt Disney's greatest hits...1975...then I got-the Muppet show 1976...then I bought something myself-ian dury and the blockheads-hit me with your rhythm stick...single with there ain't half been some clever barsterds on the b side...i still have the first two but someone stole the Ian dury in the 80's.
