Tell me your worst bad day please

I had a bad start to the evenings work yesterday.

I usually chauffeur in my car , so i have sat nav ,phone , all the leads to charge them , basically everything i need

Yesterday i was asked to do a pick up in the middle of no where in a minibus ,like a fool all i grabbed from my car was my sat nav thinking that would suffice as only one job

So,the sat nav led me to a country road , middle of no where , quick re programme sat nav i must have entered wrong postcode , new destination 7 minutes away , i'm now ten minutes late already .

get to 2nd destination , OMG , same thing , country lane middle of no where.

now usually if i had my phone i can use waze , google maps , phone the customer and resolve the situation but no phone .

its a pick up for a family catching a flight from the airport so now im well stressed , i ask a few people ,found a pub and asked in there, no ones heard of the pick up address.

kept trying every option on the sat nav ,its not finding the road name , it does happen in the countryside ive experienced it before .

plus it was a farm house name in a road ...

Anyway i eventually found it 55 minutes late , omg were they angry with me , understandably

Bottom line is it all happened and spiralled into a nightmare as i forgot my phone .

They did catch the flight but were stressed to the max .

I'll send flowers with an apology note

is it just me or anyone else experienced a really bad day ever through there own doing .

I went for one and was told I had cancer, a chunk of my bowel removed later and they were wrong.

Slough Windsor ish

I got stuck halfway up a tree earlier and needed rescuing by the school caretaker coz my top got caught on a branch and if I had tried to move to unhook it it would have given 29 little darlings a full frontal flash of Bravissimo's finest

I only went up to rescue a daredevil child who was a little ambitious with his tree climbing abilities.

The nature of my work means that I deal with people having one of the worst days of their life. It's good for perspective. Trivial things rarely make for a shit day

There have been a few but August 17th was awful. My ex husband got d*unk and in a terrible rage. He beat me so bad I was hospitalised, ruined my sporting aspirations and killed the marriage.

Sorry and I've not mentioned some other awful things that have happened to me.

I honestly think those think s have made me the strong woman I am. I cant change the past but I can learn from it.

I don't dwell on those things either I look for the positives in everything.

Maybe the OP will say this “I did say bad days that were self inflicted

ie you mucked up big time” to everyone else as well as me. I doubt it.
