...a fantastic meet is awful.

You spend quality time with someone and then whoosh it’s gone and you are back to reality!

The highest highs produce the lowest lows.

What’s your biggest highs and lows?

There and to the left a bit

There's certainly an addictive nature to a great meet that comes with the downer as it evaporates into the distance but you always have the memory to remind you

Having an incredibly hot, passion filled meet only to never to hear from them again.

That's a shitty comedown

The high when you see them again though...!

I have a Fab friend who I see a lot of, and holy hell, he knows exactly what buttons to push, and some. A meet with him can keep me going for days. And the best thing is that I know I won’t have to wait to long til the next one.....!

The comedown is the bit where you have a great meet or two with someone, get on great and then it kind of fizzles out and you know it’s cos they have got new Fab friends, that you would never be able to compete with. That’s a shit comedown

Yeah but the buzz goes if say you meet for a coffee with the promise of more but then you can’t get your diaries to align...or something crops up which stops you from meeting...

Yep that's exactly it but it's always there in some form - I always liken it to stepping in and out of a bubble that for the time you're in it you're 100% engaged with the person you're with but aware of your life outside it, then when you step out again you go back to "normality" but are aware of the time spent inside the bubble, until you step into it again

Oh it’s fantastic when you know what kind of night/day/weekend you are in for and you can just enjoy the moment...

I don’t look at what I have to compete with, if they go off with others...my time with someone is unique to us...it never gets tarnished.

Hot passionate, met for 6 weeks consecutively.

Now his music career is taking off with a record deal and tours of Europe and America so his focus is elsewhere

We still message; not as much, he's busy. I can wait, I know he'll be back

That’s a great way of thinking about it...although I’m never aware of the outside world, so it’s probably more of a shock when I get back to normality!

Hiding in the shadows

"

The biggest high, for me. Spending time with someone I care about, enjoying each others company, it's not just the sex - which is pretty amazing, it's the whole package.

Saying goodbye is always a real downer, going to bed alone the night after, waking in the morning and seeing an empty space makes me sad.

But then I have the excitement of planning when we'll next see each other again.

"Nope i have a good memory a phone and patience "

this, because in waiting for the next meet there is the teasing conversation of remembering what you got up to and the build up to the next meet where you’re messaging what you want to happen next, sometimes you can’t help the wait but you know it’ll be worth it

The down afterwards is bloody awful but at the same time it makes me think how good everything was to feel like this in the first place!

So I just focus on how amazing it is to have had that experience, enjoyed it for what it was... and in the meantime I just hope and wish that when the time is right ...opportunities are grabbed and made the most of.. so that things could really be enjoyed properly.. and on a regular basis so that there doesn’t have to be the massive downs because you know it’s going to be happening again!!
