My Breitling has appreciated in value since I got it.

I just love the mechanics and how they are made. My grandad and uncle were into watches so it's rubbed off on me. Not a fan of Rolex though, but I will get a submariner at some point for the collection.

Mr N has a few really good watches. A couple for every day and one or two for best.

My experience of longines and accurist..

Every time you want a simple battery swap, they insist it needs a service, at least eighty to ninety quid to spin off the back change the battery, maybe a new o ring.. and dunk it in a glass of water.

Never wear them.. think should remove the batteries and save myself the Dosh.

Maybe should research a place to sell them..

Always had a thing about watches.

When I was a kid and the other lads were flicking through the underwear section of their mum's catalogue, I'd head straight for the watches section.

I treated myself to a Seamaster some years ago, but I confess a fascination with 70s LED digital. I'd love to get an Omega Time computer. It blew me away when I saw Kojak wearing one.

Oh, and old military watches. I had a stonking Russian navy watch once. Not too reliable, but great looking.
