Age range

A lot of profiles have a maximum age range of 50, and whilst I will never question someone about their preferences, I was wondering if as a rule it is a personal choice not to meet someone over 50 or just the fact that it is a round mumber

Well mines 48, but I have played with older guys. I think people choose 50 as it's a round number.

Mine is there as I'm rarely attracted to people over 50. 55 at a push. And thats only for women. If I were to meet a man, my age limit would be 30.

Mine is 48 as I think I’m awfy young

I’ve had older men message (my filters are usually off as people from the forums may message me) but I’ve never found any of them attractive. When I first joined fab my age range was a year younger than my dad - 35. But I fucked that up within a month

So, for now, 48 is the absolute maximum for me.

Mine is because my step dad is 58 so would just feel weird for me personally meeting someone the same age... Same as for a younger age below 29... even though there’s some really sexy guys I’d just feel a bit strange!

I'm glad it's not just me who's noticed this then, being 49 very soon 50 I seem to be a cut off from messaging a lot of people who choose 48 which is frustratingly close hahaha but each to their own. Though I do think some people might be telling porkies about their real age ??

I always pick round numbers for my age range, can't really see the point of doing otherwise.

It's only an approximation anyway as far as I'm concerned, it's not as if I'd knock back someone I like just because they're a year or several outside of my stated range.

Speaking as a couple quickly approaching that age milestone we do smile when we see that upper limit - we go to lots of clubs and see many people way younger than us that are in much worse shape physically than us and years older mentally !! The point being you might miss out on some real gems by being so rigid about age !! Take people for what they are not just their chronological age

I've noticed this approaching 51 next month, every morning I either run 16 miles or Pedal 25 miles I just wonder if peeps think that anyone who is 50 or over is passed it and not concerned with their health and fitness.
