Me and my sister and all the grandchildren were in. We had a chippy for dinner and he had a couple of vodkas listening to Dolly Parton x

We had a little party at my parents, with friends and family; got tipsy in the rain and ate too much.

Have no clue - not seen him or had a desire to see him for 52 years but this Dad had a very pleasant day going for a long walk through a forest with his daughter

My dad died 2 years ago but I have his ashes in my living room (can’t bare to scatter them yet) and he has a bench in his name at his favourite place. So I went and had a glass of wine with him earlier.

Both my dad and stepdad would have spent it in heaven if there is such a place. But they have been in my thoughts this afternoon and I've shed a tear or two.

"Pretty sure he's still dead..."

I’m a terrible person as this is what I was going to say! And if I were of the belief that he is hanging about keeping an eye on me from somewhere, I know he’d have given a hearty chuckle

I cooked my dad a roast, if I was to give him a card he'd slap me. He then had a few beers and is now snoring on the couch.

Visited mine this morning, then him and my daughter took their cameras and went off for hours on a picture taking adventure with a little picnic. It’s his favourite thing to do and even better with a enthusiastic granddaughter by his side.

Mine died 14 years ago, never knew him tho. On a plus note I went out for tea with my four kids, it’s not often they’re in the same place at the same time so it was a treat. Muffins here paid for it all tho

Dicks started with sex, went to see his kids, some of his kids came over we chatted and a walk.

Now he's fast asleep.
