For me personally it would be the social side. Knowing im nervous but detecting their nervs as well (unless they preloaded some drink!) is a nice feeling. There is also the tiny tiny risk that they might be complete nutters which adds to the fun, gives it an edge!

The best bit is the not knowing... The feeling your way, the getting to know, the maybe, maybe nots... At some point in the early stages, you just know, it becomes clear.. Awsome feeling though!
