"Got a few things on my mind that are dragging me down tonight so I've hatched a plan to do some things tomorrow that i know will make me feel good. Shopping, visiting family, charity walk at midnight, maybe some sex if we can squeeze it in What things do you do to brighten yourself up when you're feeling Low?" Write down what’s making you feel low and deal with them one by one, after that everything else will be even more enjoyable

"That's s great idea OP, I admire your positivity when you're feeling low as it's not always easy. I always go easy on myself if I'm feeling a bit 'meh' I will try to chat with my best friend, listen to some happy music, and eat chocolate. Oh..and arrange a Fab meet Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow OP." Your pics have done the trick already

"I can’t remember the last time I felt low. I was probably a teenager." In fact thinking about it, it was the long summer after my ‘O’ levels. I was low then and didn’t really have a good way of coping with it. Eventually it was resolved by creating a new set of friends and learning the guitar

"I can’t remember the last time I felt low. I was probably a teenager. Interesting...do you ever feel high?" Yes I can have real buzzes. And I have had sad, testing, scary moments. But I don’t spend much time feeling low, I tend to release the emotions quickly and return to an even keel. I can feel stressed but that generally spurs me into action until the feeling of stress goes. So I stay fairly content most of the time. Perhaps the only thing is having less patience when stressed. However deep breathing and some exercise sorts that out too

"This is how I'm feeling at the moment... very low, lacking confidence at work and anxious, I've also been on the edge of tearing up have at times and have felt this way for a few weeks without realising that i've changed. Now I've had that realisation I need to adopt a few strategies and am looking to book an appointment with my doctor, in addition to trying to go easy, doing things that I enjoy. " See your GP and have a chat.

" I've cried more this week than I have in ten years so totally understand. Coming to terms with the bad stuff gradually and finding support in places I never expected to. If you want a chat Hello, you know where I am ... Always ready to be a friend (That goes for anyone suffering at the moment too)

It's funny as I didn't realise I was along that path until I heard a presentation run by the State of Mind charity. Thank you to you and Chri5 for some kind words. I've always considered myself to be pretty resilient so it's been a bit alien for me.
