Something bad happened today...

I got home from work earlier, then decided to go to the shops, got to the shops and realised.....

I had left my mobile phone at home.....

Utter panic set in.....

OMG!

Anyone else suffer from this kind of panic when forgotting their phone?

I’m only just recovering now...I need counselling.

Yep. I get sever anxiety at the best of times and leaving my phone? Panic mode!

My elderly parents need to be able to contact me. I was very grateful that I had a mobile last time my mother fell.

It's true that before mobiles things would have been different but in my case not in a good way.

I sometimes forget mine when I go to work. It's annoying, but I get over it.

I often leave mine at home when I go shopping or running (although, when running on my own, I make sure I have it!)

Mobiles have been a godsend for me. It not only means one of my parents can contact me if the other has a problem. It also means I can inform the family easily from the a and e departments at which I spend an inordinate amount of time.

I also feel its an extra safety feature when I'm driving alone late at night.

My main worry was in case I became unwell due to a condition I have and I hate driving anywhere without my phone in case of a car break down etc.

Funny how certain people told me to ‘get a life’ on this thread when it’s real reasons I needed a phone.

You ‘assumed’ I had made a ‘joke’ out of it but in hindsight rather worrying in case I needed help. I think some people need to step into the year 2018 and leave the 1970s back where they belong in the 1970s

I don't go into panic moe but I'm a mum to 3 children so I like to have my phone so that they can contact me at anytime.

Plus I might miss out on some hot 'Fab action' by not seeing a message in time, and that would be disastrous
