Premier League Fixture release

With the World Cup kicking off today it’s easy to forget the new season fixtures were released today for the new Premier League season.

EFL fixtures are released next Thursday at 9am

Opening day fixtures

Arsenal v Manchester City

Bournemouth v Cardiff City

Fulham v Crystal Palace

Huddersfield Town v Chelsea

Liverpool v West Ham United

Manchester United v Leicester City

Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur

Southampton v Burnley

Watford v Brighton

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Everton

Tottenham’s first game at their new stadium is scheduled to be vs Liverpool if ready on time, but will use Wembley for their first home game vs Fulham.

Who are you cheering? My team (City) have a tough start away up the Arse!

As opposed to the over paid, 0ver privileged, namby pamby, mommas boy divas that play football.

At least in rugby people play for the shirt and out their bodies on the line week in week out for pride and passion.

I've played Union at a high level with some World Cup winners and always loved football until the last few years.

Imagine football fans not. Wing segregated and having a pint with each other in the spirit of great sport.

I like rugby too (as stated above) and it’s just a bit of fun!

For what it’s worth whenever I travel with football I always drink in mixed pubs with no trouble whatsoever, but do agree that on the whole football fans are a lot more tribal and likely to kick off!

Football fans drink together in pubs all the time now. I know the anti-football crew love it when there's a bit of trouble to exaggerate but it just hardly happens as much as some like to think it would.

Drinking is impratical in the stadiums. Nobody wants somebody in the row jumping up for a pint every 10 minutes. It doesn't matter so much with other sports.

I'm a life long Liverpool fan. Loved the game for years alongside all sports.

But the romance of the game is gone for me.

It's a shame as it could be something beautiful but for the mi oritynthat have brought it into disrepute.

Not just fans. FIFA for example under Mr Blatter.

Agreed, I've no confidence that the administration is any less crooked now than it was under Blatter.

US getting the next World Cup after Qatar (who shouldn't be allowed it) was no surprise at all.
