How can I retrieve.my car insurance?

Odd question but my car was involved in an accident today resulting in bad damage to back door and bumper. No other car involved. Problem is I accidentally deleted a lot of.emails last January and my car insurance details, policy schedule etc were among them including name of insurer etc which I can't remember either! There were no paper copies sent to me as it was all done.by email.

I know I AM insured but anyone got an idea how.to find out who it was with or do I need to trawl through every insurance website?

Cheers

T

You could try check your bank statement and see who it’s been paid to usually there’s a company name on it

Did you use a comparison site? That should know where you went from there....

Have you double checked your deleted folder? They might still be there.

If you used a comparison website then log in and your details should be there.

There should be a recover deleted email depending on which email provider you are using just click on that and look though the dates till you find it if it was done after a long time ago it may be gone just phone your insurance provider and give them your number plate and name and address they should be able to find you

Good luck

Pontypridd/Rhyfelin

Google 'ask my insurance database'

It's essentially a tool for checking insurance on other parties after you've had an accident but should be able to check your own.

There is a charge of 3 or 4 pounds I think, but if all else fails...
