Having had plenty of correspondence and already met a fabulous couple who really want a polyamorous relationship with me. Having not had any experience in this before I’m still getting my head around it.

Anyone ever experienced a real relationship like this? Any tips, advice would be very much appreciated.

I would say after a few correspondence it's a bit early to be entering into a relationship with this couple. Surely you shpuld at least meet before talking about a relationship. That sort of relationship is really hard work and takes a special kind of mindset from everyone involved.

Lots of constant communication.

There are a lot of online resources and books that talk about poly and how you can deal with the inevitable conflicts. Don't imagine they won't arise, it's a relationshio, one that needs more communication and a lot of work but can ultimately be very rewarding.

Exactly this, lots of reading. If you can get to talk to people in poly relationships as well that will be helpful too

Communication is the key. What do they want from you within the relationship? Do you want what they are offering. How much commitment is expected etc etc

If you are looking for a poly relationship, have you been looking at all the potential people you could have this with, to filter options down to those who you are most compatible with?

Whilst a new relationship can be very alluring for most of us, it's generally good to look at things in a level headed way. Work out what you want and how the relationship would match your needs, self-identity and other aspects of your whole life. Are the costs what you want to pay in the longer term?

When I date I don't commit all in one go, I stay single and enjoy the qualities of single life coupled with a dating part. If this style of dating is new to you, you can date exploring new options, multiple people and relationships, as they'll all be different - sometimes we need to experience and taste choices to know what is better for us.

All along communicate as much as possible, keep things clear.
