On this occasion I have said I'd love to meet if she was interested anytime in the future , she since put up a "currently not meeting" So I do think now it's just wishful thinking. It was worth the risk though, if you don't ask you never know.

Who knows it could lead somewhere a few months down the line

Yes there was. Took my time and messaged here early one morning(when she wasn’t being bombarded by other guys). To my amazement she replied and we got on really well. Chatted all day and arranged a meet for a couple of days later. Messaged her again the next day and she just deleted... never spoke again

There was one man where distance put me off, but now we're a little more than friends and I'm happy to do the 3 hourly drive each month.

There are a few ladies that I'm attracted to but I don't approach.

That's what I wonder as I've recently found out that the guy I'm seeing now has been lusting after me for years- even way back when I was here as a couple. I had always seen him around and thought he was hot and made me laugh but due to distance I didn't think anything would happen
