Was fixing after my first alarm this morning and dreaming that my Bruce and I had found a little spider that was talking back to us... Every time we said hello it would wave its little arm and make a noise back!

Then I realised it was that cat outside meowing because she is annoying and doesn't like to use her cat flap anymore!

Do you ever have dreams where outside noises creep in and become something different?

I often have dreams where it feels like I'm awake and walking around my house but if I try turning on a light or an appliance nothing works. I can be dreaming that I'm in my kitchen putting washing in the machine but it doesn't switch on!

Yes I do. I remember being abroad and the fan to cool the room down was rather noisy, I was dreaming about a helicopter and the fan noise was the sounds of the helicopter blades.

I used to think I had psychic powers cos I'd wake up in the morning and already know what was on the news.

Eventually realised I'd been snoozing my clock radio and must have subconsciously taken in the snippets of news I'd heard while half awake!

Doh.
