--- even more annoying if you get stood up, because that person made last minute arrangements to meet someone else :- now that's very annoying!!!!!

A rough 35 mile journey one way... To find out no one will open the door or even reply to my msgs, texts or phone calls :-

thats not nice if you change your mind its polite to let the person know.

One of the reasons I always meet socially first, 200m from my office during my lunch hour.

I'm not prepared to travel miles on the off chance, and if I did I'd factor in a level of no shows.

thats a horrible thing for someone to do whether its par for the course or not.

they would have known how far you had to travel and to hide away like that just shows what cowars they are

that's disgusting behaviour, okay people change mind at last minute, but at least stop someone from driving anywhere etc

i had an invite from a couple to meet them on saturday 7.30ish at the woolpack on b5063 near teford,i arrived at the pub car park shortly 7.30,but there was only a handful of cars on the car park but non was the make/colour of the car they said they be in so i waited with my phone at the ready should they ring me!,i had sent them my mobile phone number in case and my car model & reg.

come 8.20 i gave up and went back home the 30 miles and on looking at pc there was a message from them asking why i not answer my phone?,thinking i might have missed a call with the noise of fireworks or car engine running i looked at call register but no calls missed nor recieved all day!,also they stated they were very dissapointed and had waited till 9.00pm,what liars!,what fun can people get from seeing guys waste a saturday evening waiting for a non existent meet?.

I made arrangements to meet someone in my lunchbreak and they didn't turn up, no big deal I guess as a 10 min walk from my work place but time wasted nonetheless. I have sent them a message to ask where they were, not even read my message. Their status however implies that they were actually looking for someone to join them and their fb for some morning fun, so why suggest meeting if they knew that I couldn't do it

Thanks guys... I guess, I should have been smarter... But one tends to trust people, specially on a social network like this! And such behaviour only makes you wonder, of you really can... Afterall you do expose yourself :-/
