Rochdale

Pretty much anything authentic. Best places to go are in Asian areas and then find somewhere that Asians eat.

Staff curry and roti are usually really good, relatively cheap and unlike lots of places, not full of sugar to appease the Western palate.

My mouth is watering now, even though I am not hungry!

The local Thai restaurant does an amazing lamb massaman curry with sticky rice!

Bolton

Poppadoms to start with tons of lime pickle Then lamb samosas with mint yoghurt. Followed by King prwn jalfrezi, methi or samber with coconut rice, peshwari nan and a mango lassi to drink. Orange slices and a complimentary cheap as chips brandy to finish.

Take home what you can't eat and have for breakfast the next day.
