If that is what everyone concerned is looking for then it could work out well for all concerned.

Personally, I like having the option open to explore an additional relationship if a person comes along in the future that I feel a strong connection with so would not want to close the door on that.

Ok, I've thought about it, given how difficult monogamy appears to be for most humans, it sounds like setting yourself up for a shedload of disappointment.
