I am in Scotland this week, for the last 3 nights with my cheese and bicuits I have had what can only be described as a slice of cold, brown jelly. It tastes odd but nice - a bit 'medicinal' what the heck is it?! Z

Just the sound of that conjures images so revolting I'm scared to even google it

admittedly it's probably ok once it's been removed from the pot, battered and deep fried in a Glaswegan chippy

Traditionally best eaten with Manchego cheese. Haven't had it in a while but I love it.
