" My niece and I did the same thing for a wasp once (minus dropping it) then panicked when it started to fly, ran in the house and shut the door lol | |||

"So today I tried to save a bee that was trapped between my windows at work. I managed to get him out but he was bolloxed! Made up some sugar water for him to drink but managed to drop him wings first onto the sugary mixture! Got him the right way up and he was loving the energy drink (was fascinated watching his tongue lap up the food). Thought he'd flown out of the endor only to see him walking on the floor.... The sugar water had dried and rendered him unable to fly "May be it walked because it hadn't quite the strength to fly | |||

"UPDATE He's alive! Apparently after I left for the day he came crawling back out so my colleague picked him up and put him on the windowsill outside with some more sugar syrup and he flew away. Saved another one today too and managed not to drop him! " Yaay!! I spent ages saving bumbles that keep going in the conservatory! | |||
