I’ve seen a few on here recently where their profile pic is missing. There’s just an empty box?

It seems random and sometimes the pic is there, sometimes it’s gone, or is it just me lol

Have you set a pic as your 'Avatar'?

Your main pic is on your profile - but there's a separate button somewhere that assigns a pic as an avatar - purely for the Forums. - I forget where I saw that though.

I have it set as my profile pic, some can see others can't, it's happening to others too.
