Is the green arrow a good thing?

Do you use it?

Are there certain people you follow? Is it because they are interesting or funny or just a twat?

Is it stalking?

I only use it when someone on the forums prompts me.

I'm not interested enough in anyone to follow them around the forums.

90% twat, 7% funny, 3% bored.

Usually used after some bizarre forum comments to see if it was just a bad day before I respond or whether it's their norm to which I'll hotlist them, make some notes and ignore.

"It’s a stalker’s delight

No. It takes more than the green arrow check to be a stalker.

"Is the green arrow a good thing?"

Yes. It should be added to profiles. It should allow for more than the last 35 threads. (Yes, I know there’s a way around this, but it’s a pain, especially for people with spaces in their name.)

"Do you use it?"

Yup.

"Are there certain people you follow?"

To some extent. Also, the opposite...

"Is it because they are interesting or funny or just a twat?"

Depends on who it is. Not to be a sycophant, but your threads are (mostly) above average. Often I’ll use the green arrow to establish if someone regularly posts in a similar vein to the post I’ve just read.

The green arrow next to a poster's name. It shows you where else they have posted.

Definitely in some cases, especially when there’s malicious intent, don’t you think? Surprising to see on a NSA Swinging site

I stalk everybody equally and then leave private notes on their profiles depending on my findings.

There's ways around it?! To be fair I never get further than the first few, I generally use it when someone amuses me or writes something twattish, I like to see if that's their usual approach.

Yes I suppose.

There are lots of things which are surprising on a nsa swingers site though.

Usually from the most unexpected ones.

Not from my perspective, a knob’s usually a knob and if I’m undecided I get clarification from the perceived knob

I only use it when someone tells me to. Like I’m a thread,

Check the green arrow....etc. I’m nosey only when someone else is...damn peer pressure.

I only ever 'green arrow' if somebody posts in response to another poster something like "Your green arrow suggests you have an issue with this" or some-such.

Apologies, the perils of going back to insert a remark; there’s a way around the absence of the green arrow on people’s profiles. I’m yet to find a way around the 35 thread limit.

I do use it, usually when I see someone announcing their imminent departure and the green arrow reveals 18 other threads of the same type posted in the last week

I use it when I like someone's posts or they start interesting threads.

Words on a forum don't represent 100% of their personality.

Very true, I’ve used it in the past if I enjoy someone’s take on things and want to what else they’ve said about other topics
