In praise of men who wear leather trousers

I love a slim guy with black leather trousers (not bikers btw).

However I seldom see men wearing them in the UK but having lived in Italy a lot more Italian men wear them.

Why aren't they popular here among guys?

I guess English men don’t love themselves as much as Italian men.

Also, I guess most English women don’t find leather trousers attractive, let’s face it if it got them a shag most men would dress up as Ronald macdonald

Perhaps they are a tad less confident about themselves!

Leather trousers, along with budgie smugglers and crocs were voted the worst clothes to wear in a recent survey

I wear leather trousers in winter a lot and my dry cleaning bill is huge! But it's a lovely fabric and I don't agree that it's very 80s. I get lots of compliments when I wear mine

Don't talk to me about men in leather trouser Ffs. A few years back the married bloke who lives opposite knocked on the door to ask something whilst wearing biking leather trousers, I looked him up and down in a most inappropriate manner. Oh the embarrassment I feel every time I see him. He's not worn them again since then either. XXX

Leathers are hot whether bikers or not. I have a lot of friends on the BDSM scene who are either Leather Dykes or Gay and it is such a thing for me I love seeing people in them

"Does Lederhosen count? "

I was an Army b kid, we'd lived in Germany for years, I had lederhosen and loved them. Made the mistake of wear them when we returned to the UK; I was walking around the streets of Cardiff when a 'big kid'called me a Nazi and punched me in the face, strangely enough, it happened the next day that too (different kid) - I was a slow learner in those days. Needless to say, i haven't worn leather trousers since - not even on my motorbike.

"Get on the BDSM scene... Most men wear them!"

Yes. Oh yes. Which is another bonus of being into the kink scene. As I get to see guys in fetish wear. I love leather trousers on a man. Incredibly masculine powerful and dominant look. Plus I love the feel of them. Even better when worn with no underwear!

They remind me of stereotypical gay men from the 1980s, find them very off putting on men including harnesses and PVC/ rubber. Ladies on the other hand can look hot in PVC....

A girl I dated in my 20s used to do some modelling for a leather clothing supplier. She had an amazing pair of dark brown leather trousers tailor made for me. I absolutely loved em!

I matched them with a denim jacket and 2nd hand black combat boots I bought in an army surplus store.

When I tell people now they just tend to laugh at me as they're seen as naff but back then they were proper cool.

I am a huge fan of leather. I generally wear leather every day. I have quite a collection of tight leather trousers that I wear in my day to day life ie shopping, work etc. I like to keep it fashionable and quirky. Love the looks I get from people seeing a guy in sexy tight leather trousers. I find that I sometimes wear better quality and sexier leather trousers than most women who wear wet look but confuse them with leather lol
