My mother has a terrible habit of not closing the toilet door when she's in there (she also suddenly remembers things she wants to talk about when on the lab so tries to have full blown conversations with me, I refuse to answer until she's out!)

She also doesn't flush in the night (number ones only thankfully!)

What annoying habits do your nearest and dearest have?

My mam when telling me about something that's happened instead getting to the point she tells you every little detail in the lead up to it very annoying . Also if watch soaps with her she tells me everything that's been going on even tho I know as I've been watching too lol . My dad just asks too many questions I hate when people ask me loads of questions lol

Oh also..... She does the mum whisper when commenting on other people's clothes etc I feel like I have to keep apologising for her when we go out.

One of my parents is going deaf. As such, if I take them out for a posh meal. They are unaware of the fantasticly gruesome noises they make while masticating.

It's enough to put me off my weatherburger.

Oh my dad is like that.... Like a cement mixer in his mouth. I think he gulps a lot of air in when shovelling the food in his gob!
