My little tweety birds seem to have also perfected some sort of hybrid clog/flamenco/riverdance routine which they perform on the roof above my bedroom window as their song was clearly not enough.

We love the dawn chorus over in the UK, but in Asia it has different connotations - It is the sound of every guy in the hotel/area coughing the phlegm out of their throats. Pretty sure the O.P. will appreciate our chorus more after doing a little travel x

Used to love listening to it at the time, leaving the crew room at an airport to go and throw some passengers baggage in a plane. No aircraft engines running, no brake cooling fans, just the birds.

There's about 4 of the feckers within 50ft of my house in the village. If I thought I'd get away with it I'd shoot them! it's not a noise I've got used to after them arriving 2 years ago.

Buy an air horn and set your alarm for 30 mins before dawn. Go outside and give your newly purchased air horn a few blasts and see how the little fuckers like it up them.

Alternatively, buy ear defenders.

This morning something was banging on the window, I pulled the blind up expecting to see a bird on the window sill but no... It was a BEE constantly bumping against the window... We have double glazing so I can only assume it was packing some extra weight!
