So, I’ve been thinking about how I should do my garden. It’ll almost definitely be chuckies (small granite stones for all you non-Scots) with a few planters, but I’m stuck on a few details. Should I dig a fire pit, or by a free-standing brazier? The latter is better ventilated, but would rust over time. Also, I’d be more comfortable in a single wooden garden chair, but should I get a bench just in case the unlikely happens, and I entertain one of the wimminz?

Also, do I get wooden planters, or ceramic? And if I go ceramic, do I get all the same colour, or a few complinentary colours?

Also also, does anyone want to chip in? All this stuff is expensive and I’m on a public sector income.

Ceramic, stick to one colour scheme but not all the same. Oh and no I've already chipped in to get some Sheffield guy an escort.

"Yes but dont know what im doing "

I’ll let you into a secret; not many people do. Take a look around, go to socials and clubs, read the forums and other people’s profiles and try to work it out.

Fab isn’t for everyone and it can be quite brutal at times. I was told a long time ago ‘you get out what you put in’, and it’s very true.

Well, yes, if he doesn’t want it.

I probably will go ceramic, they’ll last longer. Even treated wood will eventually rot. I’ll have a think about colour schemes. I like greens, but there’d be less variety than, say, blues and greens, which would also compliment the chuckies.

I’m gutted that you’ll help him with a lady garden but not help me with my low-maintenance garden.
