Veris and age filters

Does anyone know how it works if someone outside your age range veris you? I always thought it would come through anyway but it seems not

It's to stop people leaving verifications as a way of contacting them to get around filters.

Previous contact seems to be enough to disarm filters as far as I know

My latest veri is from a guy outside my age filters having spontaneously met him for coffee on Friday morning after chatting for a while (I initiated the chat as he couldn’t!) No problem with it coming through for me and he did his veri first. No clue why yours haven’t come through

Ive never heard that, I have people on here verified by people out of their age range, wouldn't that mean we would only be verified by people that we are looking for? I'm only looking for men but got verifys from couples and ladies.

Yeah this is what I don't understand too. My logic was that if you'd veried them first or had contact that age filters wouldn't matter. The veri that didn't come through for me was someone I veried first but were a couple so not on my looking for list. I changed my age filters though and the veri came through so I don't really understand.

Only wanted to know so I don't miss any more veris and people think I'm rude
